Cardinali currently heads group to lower high school dropout rates Cardinali Dan Cardinali has joined the $9 million-revenue Independent Sector as president and CEO, effective in July. Independent Sector is a leadership network of nonprofits, foundations, and corporations that engage in charitable and philanthropic causes. Cardinali will replace Diana Aviv, who left in October 2015 to become head of the $2 billion-revenue charity Feeding America.
